Mangroves and coastal wetlands are among the most efficient natural carbon sinks, storing vast amounts of carbon in both biomass and soil. RJE works to protect and restore these habitats, while also promoting sustainable seaweed and algae cultivation—nature-based solutions that not only sequester carbon but also support coastal livelihoods.
